Simon Says > Jesus Says I saw this video from Francis Chan about making disciples and it really hits home when he compares how most of us have all played "Simon Says" as a kid, but yet we think that when Jesus says all we need...

Words Escape Me

Category : Church, Faith

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words and this one sadly says way too much.

Church Sin Sign

Look not only at what the marquee says, but not that the churches motto is “A Church Where Everybody Feels at Home”. Doesn’t the main message just give you that “homey” feel? Don’t get me wrong I agree with the statement, but is that really the message we want communicated right up front? Where is the love that 1 Corinthians 13 talks about as the greatest thing to have? Anyway, I saw this on another blog and figured I would post it here as well.

HT to Tony Jones.

So, like, I thought you were on my RSS feed, and that it was funny you weren’t writing anything…and then I realized….you weren’t on my feed somehow…so now you are again!

Where did you find this crazy picture?

Amy, I saw it on Tony Jones’ blog.

Cool sign. I’m sure if I were a seeker this would be the first place I would want to stop at. Nothing makes a person feel more at home than the promise of eternal death. Sad how some christians feel it is more important to tell people of the punishment for sin, rather than the promise of God’s grace. Yes, the wages of sin are death, and I thank God every day that He has already paid the wages through the grace He has offered us.

I wanna punch that pastor in the face…in jesus name of course.
