Simon Says > Jesus Says I saw this video from Francis Chan about making disciples and it really hits home when he compares how most of us have all played "Simon Says" as a kid, but yet we think that when Jesus says all we need...

Personal Triumphs

Category : Life

Running FeetSome of you may remember that back in December I blogged about completing a 5K on the treadmill. I wanted to give an update of some more personal triumphs in regards to me running on the treadmill.

I have been steadily gaining more and more endurance when it comes to running. This week I ran at least 2 miles everyday on the treadmill. And when I say that I ran it, I mean that I actually ran the whole thing. No walking at all. The best part is that I felt great afterwards. I wasn’t tired and felt like I could have stayed on the treadmill longer. In fact, on Tuesday I ran for 3 miles and played an indoor soccer game later that evening. It is such a good feeling to know that I am building up my stamina. I think I just might be able to do that 5K (3.1 miles) and even get a decent time.
