Simon Says > Jesus Says I saw this video from Francis Chan about making disciples and it really hits home when he compares how most of us have all played "Simon Says" as a kid, but yet we think that when Jesus says all we need...

Big Fish Story

Category : Mobile Blogging

We are at my parents house for a birthday party for my brother and my son caught the large mouth bass that you can see in the picture. Unfortunately it was out of season and we had to throw it back in, but his reaction to cathcing it was priceless. All we could hear was him saying that he caught a big fish and so a couple of us casually walked over by where he was and then we saw it. I was impressed. He still hasn’t stopped talking about it.

Not only are we here for to celebrate my brother’s 40th birthday, but we are also going to watching some old family movies. I took them to Walgreen’s had the 8mm reels turned into DVD’s. None of us has seen these in well over 10 years. It is going to be fun.

Then later tonight I am speaking in youth group on the topic of “It’s Easy Being Green”. About how Christians need to care about the environment. It comes from Emma Sleeth’s book of the same title.
