And most people afterwards stated that it was a sound defeat of the defending National Champs. And the smack talk is half the fun of college football. Amanda, I am assuming that you are a Vols fan. My father-in-law grew up in a little bend in the Caney Fork River called Walling, TN. He is now 84 but tells that when he was a child the Coach from Michigan who invented your unique helmets had a summer retreat not far from his home. Needless to say, for a young man growing up in the middle of nowhere during the depression, he made quite an impression by simply spending time with some of the local boys.
