Michigan 2008 Football Season Predictions

Nothing major, just some thoughts of what I think may happen this year. Michigan will definitely finish above .500 and go to a bowl game and keep their consecutive bowl game streak alive. The will lose to that team up north, but they will beat that team down south. No reason why I think this other than just a gut feeling. I hope I am wrong on at least one of the predictions, can you guess which one?

I’d be very surprised to see them have a good year. Totally new system, half the talent of last year. And they really weren’t all that great in 07. I am thinking 5 games would be good. No chance against ND or OSU. They’ll beat MSU because MSU is a bust against U of M.

I don’t think you can say they have no chance against ND since ND had a horrible season last year. At least Michigan’s “not really great” team last year went to a bowl game and creamed the defending National Champs and Heisman trophy winner. but the new system should get rolling at least by the Big 10 season start and they should win more than half. And MSU is looking really good this year and D’Antonio will not let them lose again.
