Why TheSnuffy?
Ever since I was a child and watched Sesame Street and my favorite character has been Aloysius Snuffleupagus (aka Snuffy). It probably comes from the fact that when I was a kid my grandma and grandpa bought me a book that you can get personalized, and the whole book was about Snuffy and Big Bird. I still have such fond memories of it today even though I do not know where it is.
When my wife and I went to sign up for our first email address on AOL I tried to get snuffy, but it was taken. I then tried several other combination’s when I finally said, “well, I am THE snuffy” and that was available. And thus my online persona was created and it is what I use. I tried to purchase toddporter.com (and it isn’t even being used) for my blog, but someone had it even though they don’t use it and so I decided to get thesnuffy.com instead.
So that is the story and now you just wasted 4 minutes reading this. Sorry to disappoint.
